Sandberg Based on : Until Dawn by PlayStation Studios Release Date : April 25, 2025     Although some video games like Sonic the Hedgehog  and Super Mario Bros.  were respected in the movie arena, the lesser-known ones are still not treated right. Last year, Borderlands  became a huge box-office bomb as well as one of the worst movies of its year. For today, we are talking about Until Dawn , Sony's new horror movie based on the video game of the same name. Going out with a budget of $15 million, the movie made a standard box office success of $53.6 million grossed. However, critics were mixed about the repetitive plot structure, but audiences (mainly those unfamiliar with the game) were quite positive on the other hand. Until Dawn  does disconnect from the game it is based on, but if you do ignore that thought, the movie just turns...

Not only did  Kung Fu Panda  get a sequel last year, but another furry-popular IP recently got its continuation as well. Today's movie is The Bad Guys 2 , the new (and criminal) sequel to The Bad Guys . With a budget of $80 million, the movie gained a box-office success on its opening weekend, causing the movie to rule it out with $9.1 million gross. Just like with the previous film, it gained positive reviews from both critics and audiences. People liked this sequel for its sharp humor, stylized animation, and action-packed sequences. At the same level as its predecessor, The Bad Guys 2  is the heist that ticks all the boxes to being over-the-top good. Summary    "Reformed criminals Mr. Wo...

Pictures, DC Studios Title : Superman (2025) Director : James Gunn Based on : Characters from DC Release Date : July 11, 2025     James Gunn comes back to set the DCU bar back up to high. After The Flash  and Blue Beetle  flopped in 2023, plus Joker: Folie à Deux 's flop last year, DC had a huge problem when it came to its films. This year, this movie might change that. Today's movie, which is my last film of the month, is Superman (2025) , the new movie based on the eponymous superhero. Despite the budget being an enormous $225 million, the movie managed to be a box office success at approximately $432 million worldwide, along with being mostly a critical success from both critics and audiences everywhere. It was praised for its cast performances and choreographed action, although some criticized the runtime and controversies. All thanks to the director, Superman (2025)  flies to save the DC cinematic universe from dying. Su...

Because  Snow White (2025)  bombed at the box office, it was time for the company to make another live-action remake that looked promising on the surface, and it worked because it has an adorable creature that will make kids like the film! Today's movie is Lilo & Stitch (2025) , the Disney live-action remake of the movie of the same name. Against a $100 million budget, along with being based on a nostalgic movie, this one gained a whopping box office success with $1.009 billion from families going into the theaters. Despite how much money it got, the movie gained mixed reviews from critics for the changes and tonal shifts from the original. However, it also got positive reviews from audiences, thank...
